Our 21st Century Afterschool Program students and teachers had a great time at the Bell Family YMCA in Hartwell, Georgia, last Thursday. The students enjoyed a personalized one-on-one session with the staff that day and had the gym all to themselves. Students demonstrated their abilities on the gymnastics equipment as well as playing interactive listening games with the instructor. This was an exciting way to tie in some of our math standards. We left with many smiling faces, a wonderful time was had by all! |
