Identified at-risk students help develop
their own Graduation Team. This team is
made of individuals that the student knows and trusts.
These team members are committed to supporting the
child throughout the school year. All
Graduation Teams include the Graduation Coach and
parents/guardians. Some of the teams include
community members of the child's choice as well.
The students also choose various faculty/staff
members to be a part of their team. The
Graduation Coach then asks the various members chosen by
the student to be a part of the graduation Team.
For the faculty and staff at FCMS this is voluntary
and in addition to all the many responsibilities that
they already have. However, the FCMS staff
has not only been very willing to be a part of these
teams, but have been excited to be a part of the
teams. This is just one of the examples of what a
committed and caring faculty and staff
FCMS has. Please extend your thanks and
appreciation to the faculty/staff members of FCMS
for being a part of a Graduation Team, and for being a
person that has made a difference in the life of
your child.
