Congratulations on making
the 2010-2011 FCMS Auxiliary Team!
Uniforms:
It has been an Auxiliary
practice to use a uniform for two consecutive years. This will not be the case this year due to many of the
Auxiliary members outgrowing their uniforms during last season. After considering many options, we have
chosen a less expensive alternative, which at the same time embodies the young
vibrant, on the go, spirit of our middle school team. Shoes will continue to be the tan Jazz/Dance
shoes. If your child has shoes
from last season, and can still wear them, they will not need to reorder shoes.
The uniform price without shoes will
be $74.04. Uniform price with shoes will be $90.77. Payment for uniforms can be paid all at
one time or in two payments. The
first half payment is due on Monday May 3rd. All remaining Uniform fees must be paid
by May 15th on the day the girls are fitted. Auxiliary members will
be fitted for their uniforms on Saturday May 15th at 10:30
am in the Middle School Media Center.
Camp:
Each member is to attend the
mandatory 3-day summer camp on June 14th, 15th,
and 16th from 9:00 until 3:00.
Camp will be held in the Middle School Gym. The girls will learn three routines. These routines will be used during all
performances. The cost of the
3-day camp is $45.00 per student and will be due the first day of camp. This price includes lunch everyday from
ZaxbyÕs, which consists of a Chicken sandwich, chips,
sweet tea and a cookie. Please
bring water bottles or Gatorade.
Practice:
Practice will be held on
Monday afternoons from 3:30 to 5:00pm.
Football

Basketball

**Please understand if you
are not excused to miss practice you will sit out the next game. Chronic absences from practice or games
will result in dismissal from the team.
Students must be picked up from practice no later than 5:15. If picked up after 5:15 they will sit
out the next performance. If a
student is picked up late a second time, she will be dismissed from the
team. Please understand Mrs. Shurtleff lives two counties away and drives one hour to get home after the last girl goes
home from practice.**

ALL Auxiliary members are
expected to participate in ALL scheduled performances.

Fundraiser:
Fundraiser orders need to be
turned into Mrs. Shurtleff no later than Monday May
10th. Must be May 10th
to insure we receive the orders before school ends. Any Auxiliary members that have an order of 50 or more items
can order one item of their choice from the Designs brochure.
Behavior:
Please be aware that
Auxiliary members are expected to exhibit exemplary behavior and follow all
school rules set forth in the Code of Conduct at all times. If a member receives ISS or OSS for any
reason or is constantly involved in peer conflict, they will be immediately
dismissed from the team. Team
members should remain RAC eligible.
If members lose RAC points they should work with their teachers to
regain those lost points as soon as possible. Auxiliary team members should never be on the RAC ineligible
list.
Grades:
Please be aware that team
members must be passing 5 out of 7 classes for the second semester of this year
to participate the next school year.
Members must continue throughout the season to pass 5 out of 7 classes.
Participation in other sports:
As a member of the Auxiliary
team you are expected to be dedicated to your team. Auxiliary members can try out for softball or
basketball. However, if the
student is chosen for those teams they must then drop Auxiliary. Auxiliary has tried in the past to
accommodate participation in more than one sport but due to scheduling
conflicts it was not successful.
