My name is
Ronda Sullivan. I am originally from Ohio. I have lived all
over the world thanks to the Air Force. When my dad retired
from the Air Force we moved here.
My
teaching career started at Carnesville elementary. I then
was asked to go to CFES and CES for one year. During that
one year I was asked to come to FCMS and CFES. I spent a lot
of time packing, moving, and unpacking that year. I love
being at FCMS and working with the students I have. What I
do is definitely a calling from God. Each student that I
teach or come in contact with, I feel is an appointment from
God to help me to grow as a teacher and as a person. I teach
my students but being a teacher also means being teachable
as well.
I attended
college at Emmanuel and received my Bachelors of Arts in
Early Childhood Education. I also added a special education
certification for interrelated and I am presently working on
adding two other certifications. One is for teaching MOID
students (the ones I presently work with) and then my
Masters in Education with a specialization in leadership
through Walden University. I do plan on getting my doctorate
later on down the road.
I have two
sons. One is a special needs adult who has learned to drive
a forklift and works in Toccoa, and the other is finishing
up his high school career and then heading to the National
Guard around May.
I attend
Gateway Believer’s Fellowship where I am the bishop over the
nursery department. While there I have driven the bus to
pick up kids for church, organized special events for the
children, and volunteered when ever and where ever I was
needed. When I get the opportunity I like to fish. I enjoy
working outside in my yard gardening, cutting grass, and
just watching nature as it grows. I also love puzzles and
games. I love animals. I adopted Mrs. Haley’s two boys
(cats) last year.
