I began working in the Franklin County school system in 1991 as a paraprofessional for the special needs preschool program.  I loved that experience so much that I went back to school that year to add a special education certification on to my Bachelors degree in psychology.

 

In addition to my work with the special needs preschool, I have worked in special education at Carnesville Elementary, Lavonia Elementary and Central Franklin Elementary. After 17 years of working with elementary students, I was given the opportunity to come to FCMS as a special education Language Arts Co-teacher.  I am very excited to be here!

 

I live in Lavonia with my husband, Dennis, and my 3 daughters, who are all FCMS students.
