I am Joy Humphrey Holcomb. This is my first year as a teacher, but my 3rd year as an employee of FCMS. I started my education career as a paraprofessional. I obtained my Bachelor’s degree from Piedmont College with concentrations in Math and Science and my Associates degree from Athens Technical College in Respiratory Therapy. I hold certifications in middle grades math, science, and special education. My calling in life is education and I will strive to educate all my students. I look forward to teaching math this year. I am also the cheerleading coach for FCMS.
I am married to Josh Holcomb. We have 2 children Seth and Luke. Seth is 9 and a 4th grade student at Central Franklin Elementary School. Luke is 3 ½ and stays with my mom at her home daycare. We attend Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Lavonia. I enjoy scrapbooking, camping, and spending time with family and friends.
