Mr. Henry has
taught and coached at Franklin County Middle School since
2006. He is currently teaching Math Explorations, and
coaches football and soccer.
Mr. Henry has a Bachelor of
Science in Business Administration in Computer Information
Systems from Western Carolina University. He began teaching
at FCMS in 2006 while also assuming responsibilities of
assistant football and the head boys soccer coach. Before
moving to Georgia and becoming a teacher, Mr. Henry worked
eight years in software development and one year as an IT
technician for a hospital.
Mr. Henry is married to Charity Henry who teaches Drama at
FCHS. They have three children: Connor - (FCMS), Alex
(LES) and Eli (Pre-K).
Mr. Henry enjoys watching college football, playing
softball, rafting and hiking. Mr. Henry loves to travel and
has been to 28 of 50 states and visited several countries
(Costa Rica, Germany, Kuwait, Qatar) with future plans of
climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro in Africa.
