I have lived in and around Franklin County all of my life. I graduated from Franklin County High School in 1983 and graduated from Emmanuel College in 1985. I opened Flowers From The Heart in 1995 and enjoyed owning my own business for 9 years until I felt a call to the field of counseling. I sold my business and headed back to Emmanuel College where I obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Middle Grades Education in 2007. I graduated from Clemson University with a Master’s Degree in School Counseling in 2010 and am a Nationally Board Certified Counselor. I worked at Franklin County Middle School for 4 years as a 7th grade teacher before becoming one of the school counselors here. I am also the 8th grade girls’ basketball coach.
I have been married for 26 years to another former FCHS graduate, David Hart. My son, Peyton, plays baseball at Kennesaw State University. We reside in the Sandy Cross Community and attend Peniel PH Church where I have served as the Music Director, church pianist, Christian Education Director, Sunday School Teacher, and Youth Director at various times over a period of 24 years.
I feel that it is an honor and privilege to be able to work with the students at Franklin County Middle School. I hope to help them to prepare for a bright future, to be the best that they can be in all that they do.
Mrs. Hart is also the 8th grade Girls Basketball coach at FCMS.
Mrs. Hart was chosen to be the 2011-2012 FCMS Teacher of the Year. Congratulations to Mrs. Hart!
