I graduated from Franklin Co.
High School in 1991. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Music
Education from Furman University, a Masters of Education in
Early Childhood Education from the University of Georgia,
and an Educational Specialist Degree in Educational
Leadership from Lincoln Memorial University. I taught
Chorus at FCMS for nine years before moving to the office.
Some of my most memorable moments are directing the
musicals Lil Abner, Annie, Fiddler on the Roof, and
The Music Man. This is my fourth year as Assistant
Principal at FCMS. This job is always challenging! I feel
working with middle schoolers is where God wants me to
be! I am also the Music Director at Lavonia First Baptist
Church and sing with the praise band, Reign. My husband and
I own and operate the BBQ Barn in Lavonia. I enjoy singing,
playing the piano, spending time with friends. However,
most of my free time is spent playing with my precious
nieces and nephews!
