Officer
Cordell started his career in Law Enforcement in 1986 as a
Patrolman for Hartwell Police Department. He has been in Law
Enforcement for 21 years and is now employed by the Franklin
Co. Sheriff's Office where he serves as the School Resource
Officer at FCMS. He is married and has two boys, Cody-11 and
Ben-8 years old. |

Officer
Cordell graduated with honors from the Northeast Georgia
Police Academy where he also qualified as a “Pistol Expert”
on the firing range. He received his S.R.O. training with
NASRO (National Association of School Resource Officers),
which places him at a National level of certification.
Officer Cordell has also obtained the certification of F.T.O.
(Field Training Officer) and serves as co-advisor for the
Fellowship of Christian Athletes at FCMS. |

In 2003,
while working for Lavonia Police Department, Officer Cordell
was presented the prestigious Medal of Merit award and a
letter of Commendation for going above and beyond the call
of duty. “Officer Cordell saved an elderly gentleman’s life
and protected others from harm while putting his own life in

we have awesome students. I enjoy watching them grow and
learn as well as becoming friends with each one. It is my
goal to provide a safe learning environment so that students
can achieve their goals in life. Our school has a “NO BULLY
ZONE” policy and we work hard to keep it that way. |
